  • Issue#64959: Logitech - m555b Bluetooth pairing issue with Dell Latitude E4300 running Windows 10 64 bits

Hello, I've been using a m555b Bluetooth for more than 4 years with the same laptop: Win7, Win8, Win8.1 and now Win10 But I currently can't: after the full new installation from scratch, I'm unable to pair it. The Broadcomm "Dell 365 Bluetooth"  module works fine, I've successfully paired an iPhone 5S, a Microsoft Number Pad and an audioset. It properly detects the mouse (including brand and model), when I press the "connect" button under it. But I press the "pair" button on the Bluetooth setting panel on Windows 10, I obtain the warning box "it didn't work - please try again and check your mouse can still be detected" When I press the "close" button and make a new attempt: no further sucess. I remember having suffered such a similar issue with Win8 3 years ago. Please help me!

  • Issue#220875: Linux - Dell Latitude D610 DVD issue Mint 17.3

Hello gang. I have this Dell laptop with Mint 17.3 Rosa on it It works fine But I am always wanting to tinker. I had Ubuntu on a Sony laptop and I liked it until that laptop died I was thinking about putting it on this Dell, but the DVD does not seem to work properly. I know the DVD is fine as it is what I used to install Ubuntu on the now dead machine When I put the DVD in, the icon for a music DVD pops up ( I do have the boot order set correctly as I installed Mint from a DVD) When I try booting to the DVD, it does not recognize it and goes right past it and boots from the HD Any DVD (not music) I put in it thinks its a music DVD and I cannot open it So apparenty there is something wrong with the DVD driver? Any insight? I dont really have to get this to work, all I use this for is for the internet and maybe some of the Libra office and Gimp programs and print from it and all that works just fine Just curious what could be wrong thanks

I've spent some time searching all over, and even though there are plenty of threads talking about "Hardware Disabled" issues with soft switches, not a lot talk about issues with an existing Physical Switch and how Network Manager mishandles this hardware on boot and on resume. Hello, I took the plunge recently and updated my M6700 from Windows 7 Pro to 10 Pro. I think I finally have all the driver kinks worked out, but I have found out that Windows 10 seems to ignore the BIOS setting for the wireless switch on the side of the laptop.

  • Issue#507905: HP - Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 bluetooth issue

I just upgraded my laptop wireless adapter from "Broadcom BCM43142" to "Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 802.11 ac" upon confirmed that the new card is supported from service manual.  Both latest Intel wireless and bluetooth drivers are installed ( and 18.1.1611.3223 respectively). AC connection works perfectly fine; however, the bluetooth seems to be having issue here.  For pairing and maintain active connection between bluetooth device and laptop, I have to put them right next to each other literally.  Any distance more than 10cm apart, the bluetooth device will be inactive and unusable.  I don't have such problem with Broadcom which I can perform pairing and maintain active connection even a meter apart.  Does anybody face the same issue before with Intel AC 3160 bluetooth?  Or is this a hardware issue with the card itself?

  • Issue#559179: weird issue with Dell N3024 switch - not supporting half duplex?

was having an issue with some tcpip time clocks not working on our dell 3024 switches. you connect the time clock to a port on the switch, port does NOT light up, no traffic, and absolutely nothing is logged. (that bothers me more than the clock not working). plug PC into same port with same cable, BAM - light on the port, and traffic flows. these clocks work just fine on HP switches, netgear switches, but not on any of our dell N3000 series switches. worked with Dell support technician, after an hour working on the N3024, they had me connect the clock to one of the HP switches. then from looking at the port on the HP switch, it appears the time clock is connecting at half duplex, and the tech tells me the N3000 series does not support half duplex. my reply was "so you are telling me I have to replace my dell switches." him "no sir, not...

  • Issue#603717: Notebook - Dell Latitude E6400 Lid Mod

Would it be possible to do a lid light mod, to make the rear of the panel to light up like the macbooks do? i think it would be amazing do have a light installed to back light a logo, and make the light actually be linked to battery life so that when the battery was dying it would start to shift to red, or when its charging it just strobes color until it is fully charged, then it turns solid green.

  • Issue#790331: Dell - Latitude e6400 and SSD drive - BIOS incompatibility?

Lol kudos to you for making this discussion alive after 5 years. Wonder how many e6400's remain in function today. Actually ocz worked but was write once after install and then it was read only. In one way dell/ocz could have marketed that flaw as a security feature.
